Our Values

Genuine Worship

The primary response to God’s mercy is worship, so we seek to be a church that worships honestly, sometimes with praise and joy, other times with lament and uncertainty. Children are an important part of our worship and are included in worship in many different ways including opportunities to worship and lean at their level

Generous Hospitality

God’s mercy is most profoundly experienced in community, so we seek to be a church that welcomes others as they are with generous hospitality that reflects the generous love of God.

Life-giving Relationships

God’s mercy is most profoundly cultivated in relationships with others that are honest and edifying. Therefore we seek to be a church that cultivates life-giving relationships that encourage us to grow in our faith.

Compassionate Neighboring

God’s mercy is most profoundly shared in our visible love of our neighbors. Following Jesus’ teaching in the parable of the Good Samaritan, we seek to be a church of good neighbors, putting the needs of others and our communities ahead of our own.

Blessing, Reconciliation, and Renewal of Our Community

God’s mercy is not reserved only for individuals or even only for the Church, but is for the blessing, reconciliation, and renewal of all of creation. We seek to proclaim this mercy in word and deed in order to:

  • Bless our community by working for the good of those who live here

  • Reconcile our community where there is division.

  • Renew our community, serving and providing a beacon of hope to those who are suffering and in need.
